What's Yours - Alcohol Outreach>
To re-shape social norms around excessive alcohol consumption by engaging, advising and informing people across the city who are at increased and high risk from alcohol.
Our trained health intervention workers specifically targeted ‘hard to reach’ groups. Using a 10 point audit tool to assess current consumption and risk, they were given a validated brief intervention using appreciative inquiry and motivational techniques.
4,355 direct screenings, 1,484 validated interventions, 3,866 people engaged with information and over 250 events held.
