Ian Jackson, Creative Director

Creative Director

In 1999, Ian became one of the three co-founders of ICE and has never looked back. His drive, passion and commitment has driven him to build and lead a multi-disciplined creative team that is respected by regional and national, public, private and 3rd sector clients alike.

Innovative, imaginative and professional, Ian has a passion for creating brands and messages that truly resonate with people from all walks of life. He is the creative force behind several well-known behaviour change programmes and campaigns across health and life sciences, local government and private enterprise, including leading brands such as Healthy Schools, Body Shop, Virgin, Rimmel and Eli Lilly.

Ian is qualified to Masters’ level having gained a distinction in Health Communication Design at Coventry University. His natural uncanny ability to interpret beliefs, behaviours, needs and motivations and then deliver effective and innovative solutions has been a core contributing factor to the development of the ICE ‘people shaped’ model that supports our mission to make better happen. Ian has also gained wide recognition for his graphic facilitation/recording work by supporting organisations to bring vision, ideas and strategy to life in a tactile, collaborative and engaging format.

Whether working on branding, print collateral, interactive design and UX, graphic facilitation or video and animation, he creates solutions that truly cut through the marketplace ‘noise’ to deliver genuine results. Ian leads by example, is always willing to roll his sleeves up, enjoy the process of creation and he loves problem solving (and shoes).
